Management Practices

Staff Resources
Conference & Logistics Consultants, Inc. currently conducts business at 31 Old Solomons Island Road, Annapolis, Maryland. Our fully staffed management office houses eight permanent full-time staff plus three part-time staff, with the ability to expand with professional consultant staff, as workload requires. In addition, we may draw upon other experiences professionals on a contract basis to assist with on site staffing for large events.

Staff Training & Meetings
Our professional staff is encouraged to attend industry functions and training classes to ensure they are current on all meeting trends. We promote staff participation by covering tuition fees when appropriate. This continual training provides our clients with the latest information regarding meeting management. Our company also holds regular staff meetings to disseminate information and schedules, allowing every member of the staff to be knowledgeable on all current and upcoming project work. Clients can be assured that all staff will be able to assist most callers with event-related questions.

Hardware and Software Information
Our company maintains an Ethernet LAN network system in order for all staff in the office to effectively share files. Common databases ensure that all staff members have the most current updates. In this way, staff can efficiently retrieve data from any client file with minimal effort.

Remote Access
We have software in operation, with high-level firewall security to allow staff to access files from outside our main office. Client work is carefully coordinated and accessible to maintain accuracy and version control of all shared files. Staff can work on files while at different office locations, while on travel, and at home at high speeds using our Virtual Private Networt (VPN) via the Internet.

Data Management & Protection
All client and corporate files are backed up on a daily basis on separate storage devices to create maximum recoverability in the rare event of a data loss or hardware failure. The storage devices are rotated on a weekly basis and daily backups are stored in an offsite safety deposit box. We also have secure, remote backup facilities in an offsite location. C&LC, Inc. protects its computer operating system and data by installing and constantly updating virus software on its system. Our clients can feel safe knowing they will not inherit viruses from our files.
